Wakefield School PTA Committee
The Wakefield School PTA Committee are a group of parents who provide an important link between the school and parents, by coordinating fundraising and social activities.
The fundraising proceeds enable the school to purchase items from a “wish list” compiled by the school’s staff, leadership and management teams. These items have been approved for purchase by the Board of Trustees. Examples of some of the items the PTA has funded or contributed to for the school in the last few years are; a school Gazebo and ‘flying flags’, the sound system in the hall, the play ground, library books, literacy and numeracy resources, musical instruments and interactive whiteboards. We find this funding of vital importance to the running of our school.
The PTA encourage family involvement in the schools social and fundraising activities.
