Searching the Catalogue

From the Wakefield School website 'Home Page' - www.wakefield.school.nz

Click on the 'Library' tab

Click 'Catalogue'

On the left you will see the 'Search Menu':

• 'Fast Find' is a good way to get started.  Click on 'Fast Find' and in this dialogue box enter your search term and select the applicable option.' 'All Fields' will give you the most 'hits'.
• 'Visual Search' is great for younger users
• We don't recommend 'Advanced Search'

Borrower and Pin Numbers

Each borrower is allocated a unique borrower number.  Use this to log on to 'My Library'.

Your PIN number acts as a password. Library staff will give you your PIN number.  If you forget it please contact us and we will reset it for you.  Please do not disclose your PIN number to others.  Your details are private and only Library and Admin staff have access to them for editing purposes.

How Do I Log Onto My Account?

From the menu on the left of the window choose:

'My Library'

Then 'Borrowing Detail'

In the dialogue box enter your Borrower Number and PIN number.

From here you can see:

• Items on loan
• Reserves
• Borrowing history

Clicking on the 'More'  tab takes you to 'My Contact Details' and 'History'.

Your Details

When you log on to 'My Library' you can view your contact details by clicking on the 'More' tab.

From here you are able to edit your:

• Email address
• Phone number
• PIN (or password)
